Patient Safety & Confidentiality are our Priorities
Pullman Regional Hospital strictly adheres to the guidelines and regulations outlined in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) which specifies the conditions under which information may or may not be released without prior authorization from the patient. Pullman Regional Hospital adheres to the policies outlined in the Washington state's official publication, Guide for Cooperation, which details how media are allowed to interact with patients and in patient areas. As a community owned healthcare facility, Pullman Regional Hospital is committed to transparency. We will provide comprehensive and timely information to the public, the media, and all stakeholders and shall be responsive to requests for information (WAC 44-14-040). All information about Pullman Regional Hospital shall fully and honestly reflect its policies and practices. All financial and program reports shall be complete and accurate in all material aspects. Our Community Relations department is available to assist media in answering questions about the status of a patient, arranging an interview with staff, or obtaining more information about a news release or event.
