Supporting Pullman Regional Hospital
(follow this link for Ways to Give)

Since opening in 2004 as the newest rural hospital in Washington state, Pullman Regional Hospital has provided care to the greatest number of people in its 58 year history. Through the support of our community, we funded the beautiful, 95,000 square foot state-of-the-art hospital. While up-to-date facilities are essential, continuing to provide premier care to our patients remains our focus. To make sure we continue providing the best healthcare, we must keep pace with technology and plan for the future.

The Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation supports these efforts to remain the best and ensure a successful future. The Foundation Board of Directors, composed of 12 volunteer community members, is dedicated to helping fund the equipment and technology demands of running the region’s premier healthcare facility.

In today’s healthcare environment, it may be hard to accept the fact that hospitals need private philanthropic support when we hear about medical insurance premiums steadily increasing and expensive hospital procedures. The fact is hospitals receive only a portion of the cost it takes to run a hospital from contractual and government reimbursements. Excellence in service takes continued financial support from donors who believe in the importance of great healthcare -- donors like you. The Foundation administers three significant endowments. The Roberta McFadden Memorial Endowment, established in memory of Roberta McFadden, a long-time Pullman resident, who died of breast cancer. Funds underwrite the Breast Cancer Support Group’s educational activities. The Palouse Prostate Cancer Program Endowment supports the activities of the Palouse Man-to-Man Prostate Cancer Awareness Group.

The Foundation’s Endowment for Excellence exists to ensure that Pullman Regional Hospital continues to provide the best healthcare to our region. An investment in the endowment today ensures that the best in medical care is here for you, your family, and your community in the future. Philanthropy is not only for wealthy people. Americans’ generosity continues to grow. Make a gift today or consider the tax benefits of planned giving and start enjoying the personal and financial benefits of giving.
