BirthPlace at Pullman Regional Hospital has received a Women’s Choice awards for the third year ranking us as one of America’s Best Hospital’s for Patient Experience in Obstetrics.

Pullman Regional Hospital's Web site has been recognized nationally by Strategic Healthcare Communications with an eHealthcare Leadership Distinction Award for Best Rich Media for Hospitals under 200 beds in 2016.

BirthPlace was recently recognized by the National Safe Sleep Hospital Certification Program as a Gold Certified Safe Sleep Champion for our commitment to best practices and education on infant safe sleep. Pullman Regional Hospital is one of the first hospitals in Washington state and one of 38 in the nation to receive the designation.

We have been voted a 5 star hospital for the past four quarters for patient experience, based on Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ new Five-Star Rating System. This is the highest ranking a hospital can receive as voted by its patients. We are only one of 251 hospitals in the nation to receive this designation.

Pullman Regional Hospital’s Summit Therapy & Health Services is the recipient of the 2015 Healthcare Excellence in Aquatics Award from HydroWorx. Ambyr Henderson, speech therapist, and Tim Williams, physical therapist, were recognized as clinicians who garnered superior rehabilitation results through innovative and unconventional methods.

Pullman Regional Hospital earned the “Washington State Hospital Association Safe Care in Action” award for its efforts to decrease patient harm in 10 key areas through participation in the “Partnership for Patients” national initiative. (2013)
