WSU Student Volunteers

Thank you for your interest in serving as a volunteer at Pullman Regional Hospital.  We are currently accepting applications for the fall semester. 

Volunteers are required to complete Pullman Regional Hospital’s Volunteer Orientation before beginning to serve.  There will be two volunteer orientation sessions offered this fall.  They are scheduled on Monday, August 25th at 8:30 am and Tuesday, August 26th at 3:30 pm.  Both sessions will be held in the hospital’s conference rooms C & D.  Before attending the orientation the following must be completed and returned to the Volunteer Coordinator:

  • Volunteer application (see link below)
  • Background check form  (see link below)
  • Verification of completed two step TB skin test (may be completed at Pullman Regional Hospital Emergency Department between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm, WSU Health and Wellness or your family physician)
  • Letter of recommendation from your advisor including GPA and year in college (must have completed freshman year)
  • Letter of intent which includes area of interest

In addition, pharmacy volunteers must have a Pharmacy Assistant License.  For questions on obtaining your license, please see your WSU advisor.  Pharmacy volunteers must make a commitment to serve a minimum of two consecutive semesters and work a minimum of two hours per week.

Community Volunteers

We accept applications from Community Volunteers continually throughout the year.  Volunteers are required to complete Pullman Regional Hospital’s Volunteer Orientation before beginning to serve.  There will be two volunteer orientation sessions offered this fall.  They are scheduled on Monday, August 25th at 8:30 am and Tuesday, August 26th at 3:30 pm.  Both sessions will be held in the hospital’s conference rooms C & D.  Before attending the orientation the following must be completed and return to the Volunteer Coordinator:

  • Background check form  (see link below)
