Master the Aging Process
Mar 14, 2016
Pullman Regional Hospital will be offering a 10 week series of classes on Mastering Aging starting in April. The hospital is one of 13 organizations in Washington recently awarded a National Council on Aging grant to deliver the Aging Mastering Program®. The newly developed course is designed for older adults to make and maintain small but impactful changes in their lives. The classes will explore navigating longer lives, physical activity, sleep, healthy eating and hydration, and financial fitness to name a few. Educational materials will be provided at each class and facilitated by trusted, local professionals. A check list of action steps and a system for tracking behaviors will also be provided.
The first course will be held April 8 at 12:30 to 2 p.m. in Conference Rooms C&D of Pullman Regional Hospital. The first 30 registrants will receive a full scholarship, a $99 value, covered by the NCOA AMP® grant. If you are interested in learning more or to register, please call Noel Nicolai, Education Coordinator, at 509.336.7404 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
