Pullman Regional Hospital recertified as Level IV Trauma Center

Pullman Regional Hospital has been awarded a full level IV Trauma Designation for another four years by the Washington State Department of Health’s Office of Community Health Systems – EMS & Trauma program. The designation was awarded after a state review and administrative and clinical evaluation was conducted on Pullman Regional Hospital’s trauma service. According to the report, the designation signifies that Pullman Regional Hospital has a dedicated trauma program with excellent quality improvement processes and training protocols for emergency physicians, nurses and staff. Pullman Regional Hospital can stabilize any trauma patient and transfer those needing higher levels of care. The designation is from September 1, 2016 to June 30, 2020.
