Wellness for Life presents How to prevent weight gain during the holiday season

Pullman Regional Hospital’s Wellness for Life program presents “Minding the energy gap: How to prevent weight gain during the holidays and throughout the lifespan,” on Thursday, November 12 at 12 noon in Conference Rooms C&D of the hospital.
Melissa Francik, MS, RDN, CD, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist at Pullman Regional Hospital, will speak on factors that contribute to unwanted weight gain and how small changes to diet and lifestyle can help you maintain a healthy weight throughout your life.
In addition, Francik will address effective ways to maintain a lower weight after you have lost weight and explore strategies to maximize holiday meal enjoyment without putting on those extra pounds.
The lecture is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
