Breast Cancer Support Group

The Breast Cancer Support Group offers a warm, friendly, supportive environment for the newly diagnosed and those in recovery and survival stages of breast cancer.  We offer encouragement and information to anyone in the Palouse region with a personal history of breast cancer, and we provide education about this illness and possible treatments. We meet the third Wednesday of each month from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, at Pullman Regional Hospital. No fee.

Dementia & Alzheimer’s Caregivers Support Group

The Caregivers Support Group is open to all individuals caring for people with disabilities. We meet from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm on the third Monday of each month at Martin Wellness Center, 510 W. Palouse River Drive in Moscow. For questions phone Julia at:  (208) 310-0915

 
Diabetes Education & Support Group 

Talking with other people who share the challenges of day-to-day living with diabetes can be helpful. That is why many individuals with either newly diagnosed or long-term diabetes join our group. In addition, we offer education programs to help people keep up-to-date on current tools and techniques for managing diabetes.

We meet the second Monday of each month from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm in conference rooms C/D at Pullman Regional Hospital. Meeting facilitator is Marilyn Burch, RD, CD.

Fibromyalgia Lupus Education & Support Group 

Fibromyalgia and Lupus Education & Support Group is designed to provide a confidential, caring, non-threatening environment where people can share their concerns, fears, strengths, and hopes. It is not designed to provide professional therapy. The purpose of the group is to provide information, education, awareness, and support. FLSG provides an opportunity to reach out to others who have had similar challenges and fosters an improved understanding of lifestyle management. Spouses, partners, and caregivers are welcome to attend the education meetings.

Type 1 Diabetes Support Group

Jacki Riley welcomes parents and children affected by Type 1 Diabetes to join in sharing information, support and friendship for managing Type 1 diabetes throughout the different growth stages. Parkinson's Support & Education Group: Telehealth Presentation

Meet other people who have been touched by Parkinson’s. Meetings are free of cost and are also received in several communities over TeleHealth.

The Parkinson's TeleHealth Program broadcasts live, interactive educational talks to a network of rural communities in the Northwest. On the SECOND Monday of each month from 2:00pm to 3:30pm, a guest speaker presents a topic geared toward the interests of Parkinson's families. The information is designed to help participants to improve their knowledge of Parkinson's disease and in turn their quality of life. Location: Pullman Regional Hospital's Conference Room A.
