Applications for 2018 Community Health Impact Faculty Fellowships now open

Pullman Regional Hospital’s Center for Learning & Innovation is now accepting applications for Community Health Impact Faculty Fellowship awards to improve health care delivery, lower costs and improve patient outcomes. Full-time faculty members at Washington State University are eligible for the $5,000 award.
Applications are now being accepted and eligible candidates can apply at http://www.pullmanregional.org/community-health-impact-faculty-fellowship. The deadline to apply is December 31, 2017.
Criteria for selection is based on the alignment of the candidate’s project with Pullman Regional Hospital innovation priorities: Patient Experience, Population Health, Clinical Scholars, Personal Enrichment, and Leadership Development. A detailed description of the criteria can be found on the hospital’s Web site at www.pullmanregional.org.
Gerald Early, M.D., Chief Medical & Innovation Officer, at Pullman Regional Hospital said the Fellowship was created by the Center for Learning & Innovation to encourage collaboration between the hospital and WSU faculty to find innovative solutions to healthcare challenges.
The 2017 Fellows were Hassan Zadeh, Ph.D., Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and Bidisha Mandal, Ph.D., School of Economics at WSU.
