Pullman Regional Hospital Ultrasound program receives accreditation from American College of Radiology

Pullman Regional Hospital’s Ultrasound program in Imaging Services recently received accreditation from the American College of Radiology. This accreditation certifies that ultrasound at Pullman Regional Hospital has met rigorous standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in care. The ACR accreditation ensures the highest quality in technology, images, and staff expertise.
“The ACR is the trusted leader in imaging accreditation,” said Robert Lloyd, D.O., radiologist at Pullman Regional Hospital. “Obtaining this voluntary accreditation assures that our image acquisition; reporting and quality control process is meeting the highest standards.”
There are now five certified ultrasonographers providing care in Imaging Services at Pullman Regional Hospital. In addition, the Imaging Services’ mammography, CT, and Nuclear Medicine departments are also ACR certified.
“Seeking and attaining accreditation from the American College of Radiology demonstrates a strong commitment to quality medical imaging,” said Darin Porter, director of Imaging Services. “The ACR holds sites around the country to the highest levels of professional and technical expertise. I am proud of our technologists and their commitment to our patients.”
