PULLMAN -- All imaging services – Ultrasound, MRI, Breast MRI, CT, Mammography and Nuclear Medicine – at Pullman Regional Hospital are now accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR), indicating the highest seal of safety and quality. No other hospital in eastern Washington has received ACR accreditation for all its medical imaging services based on the ACR’s Web site.
This accreditation certifies that all types of imaging services offered at Pullman Regional Hospital have met rigorous standards of safety and quality in care. The ACR accreditation ensures the highest quality in technology, images, and staff expertise.
“The ACR is the trusted leader in imaging accreditation,” said Robert Lloyd, D.O., radiologist at Pullman Regional Hospital. “Obtaining this voluntary accreditation assures that our image acquisition; reporting and quality control process is meeting the highest standards for our patients.”
“Seeking and attaining accreditation from the American College of Radiology demonstrates a strong commitment to quality medical imaging,” said Darin Porter, director of Imaging Services. “Not every hospital voluntarily goes through the rigorous process of accreditation. This rare achievement for a hospital to attain ACR approval on all its service lines is proof that Pullman Regional Hospital stands as a standard of excellence in care.”
