Stay Active and Independent for Life Classes offered in Palouse

Summit Therapy & Health Services will start offering SAIL (Stay Active and Independent for Life) classes in Palouse at the new Garfield-Palouse High School weight room/Palouse Community Fitness Center, located at 600 East Alder Street. Classes begin Monday, February 20 and will be held Mondays and Wednesdays at 1:15 to 2:15 p.m.

 

SAIL is a strength, balance and fitness program for adults 65 and older. Performing exercises that improve strength, balance and fitness is the single most important activity adults can do to stay active and reduce their chances of falling.

The class will be taught by Holli Parrish, physical therapist at Summit Therapy & Health Services and resident of Palouse.
