Pullman Regional Hospital Auxiliary

Inland Northwest Blood Center services the Palouse area. Draws are made each Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Pullman Regional Hospital. Volunteers interact with donors and serve them refreshments.
The Volunteer Chaplaincy Program at Pullman Regional Hospital provides patients, family members, and hospital staff with positive spiritual care as an integral part of the health care team.
Information Desk volunteers are the "face" of Pullman Regional Hospital. They greet, direct and share information about the hospital. This is a great opportunity to interact with people.
Gift Garden volunteers keep the gift shop running so hospital visitors can purchase gifts and cards for patients and staff.
How to Become a Community Volunteer
All Community Volunteers are required to complete and return a volunteer application and Washington State Criminal Background Check forms. State law requires a check for criminal history through the Washington State Patrol. The criminal background portion of the volunteer application must be completed and signed. The hospital will process the background check. You may download both by clicking on the links below.
In addition to the volunteer application and background check forms, a two step TB skin test must must be completed. The TB skin test may be completed at Pullman Regional Hospital at no charge. To schedule an appointment, call Shari Larsen at 509-336-7354. Please download the TB skin test form by clicking on the link below. Complete the form and bring with you to your first appointment. After the testing is complete, include a copy of your test results with your application and background check.

VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION: Volunteers are also required to complete Pullman Regional Hospital's Volunteer Orientation before beginning to serve. Community volunteer orientations are held the third Tuesday of each month. Orientation begins at 10:00 a.m. and last approximately 1 1/2 hours. Before attending orientation, a completed application packet must be submitted to the Volunteer Services office.
