Vinod Mehta, M.D., is a board-certified sleep and internal medicine physician, bringing his expertise to our community as a new service provided by Palouse Pulmonology & Sleep Medicine. Dr. Mehta belongs to the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and is passionate about improving your quality of life.
If you're struggling with sleep disorders like insomnia, restless leg syndrome, and sleep apnea, we can help. Treating sleep disorders is no different than treating any other medical problem. After a thorough consultation, patients who have clear indications for diagnostic sleep studies will be referred for an overnight study, followed by a personalized treatment plan.
Recommendations may include medications prescribed by your physician, or non-drug approaches by a sleep psychologist. We strive to help you understand the nature and treatment of your sleep disorder, and partner closely with your primary care physician to provide a comprehensive ongoing treatment plan.
