SPORTS PHYSICAL INFORMATION

Getting ready for a new season starts with a sports physical. Requirements vary between Washington and Idaho, but most student-athletes need a sports physical every one to two years to participate. The providers at our Pullman Regional Primary Care clinics are here to help athletes of all ages stay healthy, meet school requirements, and get back to doing what they love.

Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) requires a pre-participation physical exam, and most schools accept a physical that is valid for 24 months. Schools may have additional requirements.

Idaho High School Activities Associaition (IHSAA) requires Idaho high school athletes to complete a full physical exam prior to their 9th-grade and 11th-grade sports seasons. During 10th and 12th grades, students complete an interim health questionnaire unless a new physical is indicated.
